CAI, in partnership with the Ministry of Health, delivers Community Counselling Grants (CCG). The program has supported community organizations across British Columbia since 2019.

The goal of CCG is to increase access to low-barrier clinical counselling across B.C. and focuses on reaching individuals and families who would not typically have access to counselling opportunities because of financial or other constraints.

CCG plays a vital role in B.C.’s community mental health system by supporting community organizations to provide accessible counselling services to people who need them.

Community Counselling Grantees

A total of 38 organizations are receiving CCG funding in 2026-27.

As part of this year’s funding, 22 organizations are receiving additional scale-up funding to grow community capacity. This augmented funding will allow many community organizations to significantly reduce or eliminate waitlists, helping more people access counselling when they need it.
